Hello, my lovely little ghouls! š»āļø
The air is getting colder, and the nights are getting longer. The veil between the living and the dead is looking particularly festive this year! I know everyone is busy wrapping presents, but Iāve been busy wrapping up some fresh nightmares in pastel ribbons.
A Glimpse into My Creative Process
This week in the studio, I asked myself: What if Santaās workshop was actually another universe? The result is my new collection, "Creeping of Winter," and I am softly screaming about how it turned out. Hereās a look at what Iāve been sketching by candlelight.
š¦ Meet "Dinky," the Paradox Reindeer
I spent an hour and a half rendering this little guy, and honestly? Heās never looked more precious. Dinky features:
Standard reindeer antlers (with just a hint of red glow)
One glowing red eye formed like a Christmasy black hole (the other eye fell out, oops)
A Santa gnome tied to him with a green bow
A spider after his own heart, literally
He doesn't want carrots this year. He wants your anxieties. And maybe a sugar cookie.
Embracing the Holiday Spirit
As we dive deeper into this festive season, itās essential to embrace the unique blend of joy and eeriness that comes with it. The holidays can be a time of mixed emotions. It's okay if your spirit feels a little broken, as long as your aesthetic is on point.
š Thought of the Day
Remember, be like a haunted doll: stare vacantly, look beautiful, and make everyone slightly uncomfortable. This holiday season, letās celebrate the strange and wonderful.
The Art of Spooky Celebrations
Creating art during this time can be a delightful escape. It allows us to express our inner thoughts and feelings. Whether youāre sketching, painting, or crafting, let your imagination run wild.
Finding Inspiration in Darkness
Sometimes, the most beautiful ideas come from the shadows. I find inspiration in the eerie and the uncanny. Itās fascinating how art can reflect our fears and joys simultaneously. This season, I encourage you to explore your creative side.
The Intersection of Art and Emotion
Art has a unique way of connecting us to our emotions. It can be a powerful tool for processing feelings, especially during the holidays. As we navigate through this festive yet haunting time, let your creativity flow.

Stay spooky and warm,
xoxo The Creative yet weird Odyssey lady (with a glue gun and resin, so if you canāt find me, send helpāI got stuck, lol) š¤šāØ
